I'm very busy planting and it's garlic scape season! Garlic Scapes are the flowering stem of garlic, which growers cut off to let the energy go towards the garlic bulb, instead of flowering.
Garlic scapes are delicious, my favorite way to use them is in garlic scape butter, but you can also make pesto, fry them up like onion rings, pickle 'em for later and so much more! I'll only have scapes for a few more weeks, so you don't want to miss out and have to wait till next year!
I'm getting the rest of my veggies and flowers planted, most of them will start being harvested in July, but I'll keep posting here to let you know as stuff becomes available!
What's available now:
Garlic Scapes - $4/bunch
Herbs - $3/bunch (Lavendar, oregano, sage, lemon balm, thyme, mountain mint, spearmint and more!)
